Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of forgemint.co.za and the Forge waitlist (together, the "Site"), operated by Forge ("Forge", "we", "us", "our"). By joining the waitlist or otherwise using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

Forge is currently in a pre-launch stage. Features, timelines, and the platform described on the Site may change before launch.

1. Who Can Use the Site

You must be at least 18 years old to join the waitlist or use the Site. By using the Site, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. The Waitlist

Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to Forge once it launches, and does not create any binding commitment on our part to provide a product or service by any particular date. We may prioritise, limit, or manage access to the platform at our discretion.

3. Acceptable Use

When using the Site, you agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information when joining the waitlist;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or its systems;
• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that could harm Forge or other users;
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce content from the Site without our permission;
• Interfere with the proper working of the Site.

4. Intellectual Property

The Site, including its design, branding, text, and content, is owned by Forge or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our name, logo, or branding without our prior written consent.

5. Your Information

Any personal information you provide is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. If you choose to share details about a project or idea while joining the waitlist, you're responsible for making sure you have the right to share that information, and for not including anything confidential you don't want visible to Forge or, later, other users.

6. No Warranty

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." As we're still building Forge, the Site and any information on it (including sample projects or previews) may be incomplete, inaccurate, or changed at any time without notice. We make no warranties, express or implied, about the Site's availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forge will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site.

8. Changes to the Site or These Terms

We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may also update these Terms as Forge develops; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Termination

We may remove you from the waitlist or restrict your access to the Site at our discretion, including if we believe you've violated these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
